Earth Hour is a worldwide event organized by the World Wide Fund (WWF) and it's held on the last Saturday of March every year. The WWF asks people to shut off their lights for one hour. It started in 2007 in Sydney, Australia.
Earth Hour 2013 was held on 23 March at 8:30pm - 9:30pm.
I think it's a great idea. It's something we can do together to save a little bit of energy.
I was at home with my family and at 8:30pm we turned off the lights and lit some candles. Here are some photos I took during the Earth Hour :)
